The 10 Shield Rules

To stay safe online, on social media and with AI

  1. I use nicknames: I don't share my personal details.
  2. My password and my codes are mine alone.
  3. If someone asks me for secrets, photos or to meet up, I stop and tell someone.
  4. Telling a trusted adult is never snitching.
  5. Before I click, I check: rushing and prizes are often traps.
  6. Before I post, I think: would I mind everyone seeing this?
  7. I ask permission before posting photos of other people.
  8. Stop, think, check: I don't forward hoaxes.
  9. AI helps me think, but I check what it says.
  10. If I see bullying, I don't share it: I support and tell.
